Wendy works for the Virginia Dept. of Corrections and teaches adjunct. Prior to that she was a 911 dispatcher for almost 7 years across 3 different agencies. She is also a dispatcher/public safety spouse of over 15 years. Wendy is trained as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS). She holds many certifications related to public safety and health and wellness and is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP).
