Heading for retirement, Hank and wife D.J., settled in Northeast Texas on a small but very functioning horse ranch. After being there two years Hank received a phone call that changed the family's future. Finding out about issues with dialing 911 Hank promised his granddaughter that he would "fix it". Understanding how utterly impossible that would be by himself Hank found the right people for his team and 4 1/2 years after that promise to his granddaughter it was fulfilled as he stood with members of his family and members of "Team Kari" in the Oval Office when President Trump Signed Kari's Law. Today, Hank brings awareness to problems with 911 as he travels the country bringing the story of how a little girl did as she was taught but technical issues prevented her from reaching help when needed.
