Amy Therrien

911 Training Officer at Sampson County Emergency Services

Amy Therrien has been a dispatcher for 25 years starting her career at a small Plainville Fire Department, then Plainville Police Department. She was with the Bristol Police Department Communications Division for 21 years. She has been a trainer at the agency for 19.5 years and an APCO certified CTO and CTO instructor. She recently moved to North Carolina and is the 911 Training Officer with Sampson County Emergency Services. She has a passion to help new dispatchers learn what a dispatcher means and how to do the effectively and helping current dispatchers reignite their passion to train. In her spare time, she likes to wander her new home state with her camera and travel to new locations and explore.
